“It is important to maintain your emotional, mental, and physical well-being.  Allow massage therapy and trigger point therapy to assist you in reaching your full, healthy potential…”            — Brynn A. Adams

Brynn A. Adams has participated in the CranioSacral Therapy I workshop offered by the Upledger Institute, Inc., an innovative healthcare organization that offers continuing education courses to medical professionals worldwide.

The course is designed by osteopathic physician John E. Upledger, who developed CranioSacral Therapy and has taught the technique internationally.   CranioSacral Therapy is used to detect and correct imbalances in the craniosacral system, which may be the cause of sensory, motor or neurological dysfunction.

The craniosacral system consists of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.  It extends from the bones of the skull, face, and mouth — which make up the cranium — down to the sacrum, or tailbone area.    The therapy has been successfully used to treat headaches, neck and back pain, TMJ pain, chronic fatigue, motor coordination difficulties, eye problems, and central nervous system disorders.  For more information on CranioSacral Therapy, you may contact the Upledger Institute at 800-233-5880.
